Destroy the Icon-Final Iterations
I decided to stick with David Bowie for the Destroy the Icon Project. I was most inspired by the vibrancy of his makeup, his signature lightning bolt, and his album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Additionally, ideas of queerness and fruit helped to inform accent patterns and elements in these works, as a homage to Bowie's unapologetic queer identities.
Beautiful color palette!! I absolutely love the aesthetic you’ve created. Some images i feel you’ve really nailed destroying the icon, others, i feel the original icon is still very clear. You can tell you put a lot of thought and intent into this!! I really love what you’ve done here!!
